Tauris Group at a glance

• Tauris Group (Group) focuses on meat processing and production of meat products of the highest quality.
• Tauris a.s., the main production facility, was established in 1992 after a successful privatization of state owned meat processing company. In the same year, Tauris Nitria was founded, specializing on high-end meat products.
• Group sales are being executed either through the own chain of 58 retail shops (Tauris Cassovia), own wholesale company Noema or through external retail chains and Horeca segment.
• In 2007, the Group acquired Fabuš meat production facility in Myjava and Mäso Spiš. These acquisitions strengthened its position on the Slovak market and the Group became the second largest meat producer in Slovakia with production volume exceeding 20,000 tons (2015).
• During 2016, the Group successfully acquired Ryba Košice (and its associate Calmar, s.r.o.), the most popular producer of fish products and salads in Slovakia. This acquisition also strengthened the Group´s own logistics capabilities and its ties to the Horeca segment.
• Quality management system ensures stable quality of the final product throughout the process of production to its final form, delivery and sale. Food safety is being overseen by HACCP system introduced in all production plants.
• Currently the Group employs more than 1,300 employees in its 4 production facilities and 3 trading companies.
